Rhys had a couple slots in the local nightclub. So while he was down, we decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and finally meet up to do his long awaited photo-shoot for his profile. My process was not thought thru well. for i was not prepared for his arrival. So when he did show up we just smashed out as many photos as possible. We even took the shooting outside onto the paddock next door. The sun provided a very useful angle of a sunset that did not go to waste. After extensive editing and refinement, Rhys had one portrait to choose from.
The Great Southern wine region has a very great reputation for housing some of Western Australia’s Most Unique Wine selections. I’m lucky enough to be the nephew of ‘Richard Bunn’ The Maker of Bunn wines. I wanted to embrace his wine thru playful experimentation of still life, resulting in me sucking the wine of the table surface.
Here is some cover art which i made for Robin Good: A music producer, and a great friend of mine. I wanted this concept to embrace the technology of sonic art by revealing the curves and edges of common equipment used in that practice. I used a full zoomed lens with the foreground focused and changed the colour schemes for each Session cover. I used a tripod, camera and my laptop to process these images. The work had to be done 3 days after i got asked to do them.
